Cancer is so limited.
It cannot cripple Love.
It cannot shatter hope.
It cannot corrode faith.
It cannot destroy peace.
Cancer cannot kill friendships.
It cannot suppress memories.
It cannot silence courage.
It cannot invade the soul.
It cannot steal eternal life.
And it cannot conquer the spirit.
It cannot defeat you if you
trust Jesus Christ to work all things together for good in your life.

One of the most moving accounts of
the loss of a precious child is found in 
the Bible. David, the king of Israel,
suffered the loss of a son.  He speaks of
great comfort in this passage:
And David said, "While the child was
alive, I fasted and wept; for I said,
"Who can tell whether the Lord
will be gracious to me, that the
child may live?" "But now he is dead; 
why should I fast? Can I bring him
back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not
return to me." 2Samuel 12:22-23.

I see the moon and the moon sees me,
God Bless the moon and God Bless me!
Michael Loved the moon!!! We would look at it 
often and say this!

This is one of the Bible verses that I relate to when I 
think of my beloved son, Michael.  It is on his memory 
quilt.

In the english language there are 
orphans and widows, but there
is no word for the parent who loses
a child.

We are not the first parents to lose a child.
But we are the first parents to lose our
child. And that makes all the difference.

I have never understood why it is called
losing a child. No parent is that careless. We 
all know where our children are; we just
don't necessarily want them to be there.

I only knew him for two years.
But if you took every memory,
every moment, if you stretched them
end to end, they'd reach forever!

Mothers hold their children's hands for
just a little while.....But their hearts forever!

Rather than mourn the absence of the flame,
let us celebrate how brightly it burned.
Each memory of you allows us to celebrate
the spirit of your truly special life
and find comfort in the treasures
of shared memories, shared times,
and shared Love.
For Love remembers, Love survives,
and Love endures.

He will raise you up on eagles wings,
bear you on the breath of dawn,
make you to shine like the sun,
and hold you in the palm of his hand.

For all the dreams you made
come true, for all Love we found
in you, we'll be forever blessed
because you Loved us.

What the heart has onced owned,
and had, it shall never lose.

A celebration of life for the little ones
we honor today. With their little lives,
they have set us on a new journey.
Perhaps they brought greater meaning to the
gift of life. Perhaps we now see thta life is not
without heartache. Perhaps as each day passes
we become more aware of the smallest joy,
and the greatest sadness. May we continue to
celebrate their lives and honor them in our new
journey. May we use our eyes to see what they 
may have seen. May we use our hearts to Love
what they may have Loved. May we face our journey
as bravely as they faced theirs. May we touch others as
they have touched us. May we find the peace they have 
found and may they gently guide us along the way.

Go ahead and mention my child.
The one that died, you know.
Don't worry about hurting me further.
The depth of my pain doesn't show.
Don't worry about making me cry.
I'm already crying inside.
Help me to heal by releasing
the tears that I try to hide.
Iam hurt when you just keep silent,
pretending it does'nt exist.
I'ld rather you mention my child,
knowing that he has been missed.
You ask me how Iam doing.
I say"pretty good" or "fine".
But healing is something ongoing.
I feel it will take a lifetime.

The mention of my child's name
may bring tears to my eyes
but it never fails to bring
music to my ears.
If you are really my friend,
please don't keep me
from hearing the beautiful music.
It soothes my broken heart
and fills my soul with Love.

When someone you Love becomes
a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.

You are my sunshine,
my only sunshine,
you make me happy
when skies are gray
Please don't take my sunshine away!

How could he have been such a significant
part of my life and the world, and
then, all of a sudden he's wiped off
the face of the earth, and the world
goes on without him?

Time has brought it's changes,
but your memory will always
be the most important, dearest thing
in all the world to me.
